Please be aware that the Voter Participation Center (VPC) has recently sent out a mass mailing to many of the residents of Madison County. The information contained in these mailers may be incorrect. It may state that you are not registered to vote when in fact you are registered and very much an active voter. The Madison County Supervisor of Elections office had NO involvement with this mailing. As always we are here to assist you with any of your election needs. However, in this instance we would request that you contact the responsible party in regards to the inaccurate information so that they may be held accountable.

Any person interested in running for a local office and would like to qualify by the alternative method of petition signatures has until Monday, May 23, 2016 at NOON to submit the number of petitions required for the office you are seeking. Once this deadline passes, a qualifying fee will be required for anyone interested in running for office.

Our goal is to keep you “the public” informed regarding changes with election laws and to see that all eligible residents register and VOTE!  The right to vote is one of the most fundamental rights we enjoy as Americans and it is also one of our greatest civic responsibilities. Make freedom count. Please register and vote! We offer you several convenient ways to exercise your right: Absentee Voting, Early Voting, or at the polls on Election Day.
