Vote in Honor of a Vet
Honoring Our Veterans
To honor the role that America’s men and women in uniform have played in securing our privilege to cast a ballot each Election Day, the Madison County Supervisor of Elections office is proud to implement the Vote in Honor of a Vet program.
Since November 1, 2013, citizens have been encouraged to bring old military photos of friends or family to the Supervisor of Elections’ office at 239 SW Pinckney St, Madison, FL. Photos of active military personnel are also welcome.
Wall of Honor
Photos are displayed inside the Election Office on the “Wall of Honor,” and citizens are asked to fill out a biographical information form on the subject. These bio forms are kept in a notebook inside the Election Office for interested citizens to request inspection.
As an additional way to honor these veterans, friends and/or family who submit photos and bio sheets will be given a “Vote in Honor of a Vet” pin that can be worn on Election Day.
